The Ivy City demonstration project is a redevelopment initiative designed to increase the number of quality affordable housing opportunities for families in Ward 5 and the District of Columbia. The new 58 units include condominiums and single family homes. In partnership with the DC Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) and the DC Local Initiatives Support Corporation (DC LISC), DC Habitat for Humanity, MANNA and Mi Casa are building quality units with prices ranging from $95,000 to $225,000.
